The Goodyear Cotton Bowl is one of the oldest college bowl games. When not hosting one of the the semi-finals it is the SEC and Big 12 affiliated college bowl game. It is played at AT&T Stadium in
Arlington, TX. Since 2014 it has been sponsored by the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company. The 2023 edition of the game will be played on January 3rd. The cotton bowl rotates as one of the CFP sem-final games every three years. It will next host the semi-final in 2024 – 2025 season, on December 28th, 2024 . It was first played in 1968, making it 9th oldest post season bowl game.
