Often referred to as The British Open in The United States, the Open Championship is one of the four majors of golf and the only one played outside of the United States. It is stop on both the PGA tour and the European Tour. The event will be held on the Old Course, in Fife, Scotland.
This year’s event is the 150th edition of this storied tournament, first played in 1860. The winner gets to hoist The Claret Jug.
