The 2022 FIFA World Cup will be the 22nd FIFA World Cup, a quadrennial international football tournament contested by the men’s national teams of the member associations of FIFA. It is scheduled to take place in Qatar from November 21 to December 17, 2022. It was moved from its traditional dates in summer to November due to Qatar’s extreme heat. The final match will be held December 18th in Lusail, Qatar at Lusail Iconic Stadium.
