The opening season of the 2022 baseball season, originally scheduled for March 31, has been rescheduled to April 7th. The 9 day lock out has ended with a new collective bargaining agreement in place. Plans are to play the complete schedule with the missed games played later in the season. Eight games are scheduled to be played on the ‘new’ opening day.
